WHAT IS TAUGHT?



You will learn both forms of NLP, providing you with a deep and highly efficient skill set to apply NLP tools in multiple contexts.




  • Classic Code NLP – as developed by its co -creators John Grinder and Richard Bandler, offering a full suite of tools to be applied for influence and change in any life context

  • New Code NLP – co -created by John Grinder and Carmen Bostic St Clair, with new NLP formats, which build upon the Classic Code targeted for coaching excellence

  • Integrated NLP – merging both forms into applied models for coaching, as well as multiple application models to apply in different areas, such as business being, and multiple contexts such as business, health, well being and education

  • Testing competencies – there will be an evaluation and integration on 16 May. Participants will demonstrate their competency in the Classic and New Code NLP processes to receive their certifications



The evaluation for Module One only attendees will be on 9 May



HOW DOES IT WORK?



Michael Carroll completely integrates NLP into his teaching methodology, so people experience NLP whilst they are learning.




  • Demonstrations – Michael will conduct live demonstrations with course participants, so you will see and hear all the techniques in action relevant to their application context.

  • Practical exercises – you will participate in exercises with yourcourse colleagues, and receive feedback from our ‘in course’  team of instructors for you to continually develop your skills throughout the course.

  • Descriptive lecture –  Michael will verbally unpack all the processes he teaches, for you to have a complete understanding of NLP, as well the practical experience from the exercices.

  • Module One - What you will learn

    Classic Code NLP was created in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, modelling the behavioural patterns of super ‘Change Agents’. You will learn the original models Grinder and Bandler co-created, from a modern day application perspective.



    • The history of Neuro Linguistic Programming – key influences on the field, and its rich academic influences

    • Calibration skills – the observation and utilisation of subtleties in non- verbal behaviour,  body language and tonality, and linguistic structures 

    • Rapport  – the art of building unconscious trust and responsiveness in others for you to lead the interaction

    • Representational systems – being able to work with visual, auditory and kinesthetic communication systems, utilising the language of each system and eye-accessing cues for exquisite  communication 

    • Submodalities – the inner components of the representational systems that provide the subjective interpretation of experience 

    • Meta Model language – for precise  communication, and  to elegantly get to the real meaning underneath vague language

    • Milton Model –  for hypnotic-style language to lead communication and build agreement on complex matters 

    • Anchoring techniques – to re- access historic resource states, and when desired  to stabilise them in present state

    • High Outcome Setting – the NLP goal setting formulae for achieving high outcomes

    • Working with conflict – ‘Parts Integration’ for dealing with internal conflict 

    • TimeLines  – for working with historic issues that have generalised into adulthood 

    • Personal congruence in self and others –  how to set a reliable internal communication system, with the unconscious mind for working with deeply rooted problem structures in the unconscious

    New Code NLP has gone through several major redevelopments since its inception in 1988 from its original co-developers John Grinder and Carmen Bostic St Clair. When Michael Carroll teamed up with John and Carmen, he worked with them on packaging the New Code content into models to convert  human potential which is mindset into real world high performance results in any area of life.     • The origins of New Code NLP – how it was designed as upgrade to Classic  NLP and evolved to be a discipline for coaching excellence 

    • The principles for creating change with New Code NLP – chunked to four steps in ‘The New Code NLP Change format’

    • Build a natural high performance mind set – overlapping with high performance behaviours – using New Code NLP change processes 

    • Rapidly redirect high stress situations to states of calm  

    • Engage the larger part of the mind – the unconscious mind to access resource states that have been archived deep in the mind
