The foundations of NLP were built on variety of disciplines. A primary influence was the work of Fritz and Laura Perls known as Gestalt Therapy. Fritz Perls was a legendary ‘change agent’ developing the Gestalt approach for over 30 years. If you have studied NLP (or have interest in NLP) and would like to learn the Gestalt processes that were a key aspect in the creation of NLP, this workshop will be an ideal introduction for you.
“To learn is to discover.†Fritz Perls
As we walk our paths, we find ourselves in some repetitive behaviours that sometimes we want to change due to the results we get. What we don’t always know is what those behaviours have to tell us about ourselves, and what is the structure behind the assortment of behaviours we find ourselves routinely carrying out.
In this workshop you will learn the basis of Gestalt Psychotherapy and its particular way to understand the self, reach higher levels of self awareness and practice different ways to interact with others who are a part of our life.
Important: Please note Gestalt workshops are mostly experiential and not only theory based, therefore you will need to wear clothes that allow you to move comfortably.
This workshop will be led by Ana Laura Brito, a Gestalt Therapist and Trainer as well as an ITA NLP Trainer. Ana has extensive experience in using Gestalt Therapy in her practice and overlapping Gestalt with NLP.
