Hello, good morning from gloriously sunny Croydon. It’s been an actioned packed week with the Masters taking place, new seminars, our monthly features, coaching and our day to day administration, woweee.
Last week I blogged in regards to state and sporting performance, the application area I pointed to was golf due to the Open golf championship that took place between Thursday and Sunday. For those interested the championship concluded Sunday with Ernie Els winning his first major championship in over ten years, congrats to Ernie one of the most popular and elegant players on the tour who has had a up and down 10 years privately and professionally.
What a fantastic few days we’ve had here at the Academy, as is often the way we are nice and busy. Particularly this week with the Master practitioner upstairs which is going fantastically well, the new release of our TFT seminar being held in September and two other brand new seminar releases! As well as our usual coaching sessions and support service we offer here at our base in Croydon.
We are blessed to work with the stable of trainers we have as part of our learning team here.
Good day to all. I am absolutely delighted to announce the release of our inaugural TFT course that we are running here at the NLP Academy with internationally renowned trainer Kevin Laye. I met Kevin last year at the NLP conference and was immediately impressed with his NLP/Hypnosis skills it was only when I attended a programme of his that I (Jack Carroll) realised his passion for Thought Field therapy. I knew very little at the time about Thought Field therapy (TFT), but after the four days I spent with him I was sure this is something very powerful that we have to run here and offer to our lovely friends here at the NLP Academy.
The annual 3rd golfing major of the year begins this week “The openâ€. Any golfer will tell Golf is one of the most satisfying yet at the same time frustrating games in the world. One moment you’ve hit a beautiful 260 yard drive straight down the middle of the fairway, you’ve cracked it! Next shot you scuff it 10 yards into the rough. The margin of error is so small in golf and the harder you try the worse off the outcome is. It all comes down to state.
In one months time after a year of planning our courses in Spain they will begin. We are for the first time taking our annual NLP practitioner course and Trainers Training with John Grinder, Carmen Bostic St Clair and Michael Carroll on the road.
Thanks to all those who attended Michaels trainers training Webinar last week. It was the first one we have run with this new software and it worked fantastically well. It is amazing how easy it is to interact whilst using this platform with people from all over the world, this is something we will be doing more of now in conjunction with our courses we offer here as a continual development tool.
To all those who missed the seminar of perhaps were there and would like to listen again we will be releasing a recording at the end of this week on our website and you tube channel.
We are very excited to announce two brand new seminars we will be releasing this week. One of these seminars is a totally new concept and style of change work, the other is a rapid version of something we already do now. Keep an eye on our facebook , twitter and our site for details.
Yesterday world famous author and teacher Stephen Covey died aged 79. Stephen was the author of many books, the leader of many seminars, webinars and products that inspired millions around the world. His best known work was the book ‘seven habits of highly effective people’ that was for many the first self help book they had ever read and the gateway to success in their family, personal and professional life’s.

I have gained so much from this course, both for my own internal use and to enable me to fulfil my companies expectations. I am very much looking forward to trainers training.
