March 2011 was one of the best months of 2011 so far for us at the NLP Academy. Over 170 people came through our doors to explore everything from New Code NLP to NLP for Sales. The 'NLP Premier Practitioner' course was with out a doubt the highlight. 13 days from start to finish with John Grinder, Carmen Bostic St Clair, Michael Carroll and of course the amazing group.

Practice Group: NLP Anchoring

With Michael Carroll

Anchoring is one of the core techniques in the classic code of NLP. In the modern day, many practitioner courses gloss over this fundamental skill (often because the trainer does not understand it). If you can use anchoring effectively, you can do pretty much every other NLP pattern. Anchoring encompasses a refined set of calibrations to capture the state in the client as it rises to it’s peak and a sophisticated loop of non verbal communication is initiated and maintained by the practitioner in setting and then firing the actual anchor. In this evening practice group you will observe Michael Carroll demonstrate different anchoring protocols and then practice the anchoring formats with another person. Click here for more info

Are you living in a world that is flat?

In the middle ages the majority of people believed the world was flat. Anyone who challenged that belief was considered either a lunatic or a heretic. Leaps in society, technology and understanding can leave some people left behind in the middle ages. Michael Carroll expands on this idea in the monthly article by emphasising the premise how we limit ourselves by holding on to out of date notions and beliefs.
