Hi all

Greetings to everyone involved in the July 20101 Trainers Training. I am really looking forward to the course. This course is a truly international experience with people from 23 countries attending.  Brighton is fantatsic place to be in July.

This course is the seventh annual Trainers Training John, Carmen and I have led together. Our intention when we started was to rejuvenate the field of NLP with a new breed of innovative trainers who focus on quality. We always have that goal in mind and some great trainers have come through the course.  The field of NLP can only benefit from quality.

Now it’s your turn to shine, to let the world hear your music, to let your training personality ripple out and connect with people. As away of getting to know each other, it would be a good idea if you upload a picture here. You can also post a bit about yourself in this thread. Some suggestions are below

a/ your name, if different from your user name
b/ where you are from
c/ what you do in life (hobbies, career, etc)
d// your outcomes from being on the course
e/ anything you want to post you think relevant

Click this link for short video clip on what to expect at Trainers Training
http://www.nlpacademy.co.uk/videos/view/guide_to_nlp_trainers_training/

Please feel free to ask me any questions in this thread.

I am looking forward to the pre-course discussion

Regards

Michael Carroll

Hi Michael and everyone who is reading and contributing to this forum, it’s Steve Payne here.

I have just completed my NLP Practitioner course with John Thompson in Leeds and a great, entertaining and stimulating journey of discovery it was too. I will be participating in the Academy’s Master Practitioner course next week and am curious and excited by what I can learn from the process and also by what I will be able to bring to it .

I will then be heading to Brighton in July for Trainers Training, which I am very excited about.

For brief background information, I trained and then worked as a professional actor before moving to South Africa for 5 years to run a business which involved being responsible for all sales generation, recruitment and more interestingly for me, all sales training. I returned a few years ago to work on the production side of the film world. I also worked as a freelance trainer. Along with a couple of colleagues I co-founded a training company last month and am looking forward to integrating NLP throughout our training offering.

I am also very interested in the possibilities offered by change work and hypnosis and I am looking forward to developing my knowledge and understanding in those areas over the coming months and over the rest of my life!

I look forward to continuing my journey next week.

Kind regards,

Steve.

Hi everyone!

I’m very excited to have a possibility to take part in Trainers Training in July. That’s great news that people from such a big number of different countries may learn and chance to experience original NLP in one place. I’ve never been to GB yet and I’ve heard Brighton is a fabulous city to visit.

So my name is exactly the same like my username. I’m Jakub Mikus from Poland. Now, I live in Cracow. Maybe you’ve heard about this, one of the most known, polish cities. I’m 22 and I’m studying here. I’m on the fourth year of law studies.

Last year was a superb “rocket” in my personal development. I have finished Practitioner of NLP and Master Practitioner NLP and Coach&Trainer; courses in Polish Academy of NLP, where I’m working as a trainers assistant. Books and videos from these field are my constant friends too. Now I am after some first trainings which I’ve lead and I feel it will be a great journey for me, developing my skills with you.

My life is full of little things, which make me happy. I often say that I’m interested in everything but dance and musicals… But recently I think I want to learn this too! I love people and their behaviours. Literature, movies and cooking are my hobbies too. I have a passion and will of contribution for other people to make put more and more happiness in their lives.

When I’m thinking about outcome from being on the course, thoughts about improving my skills, learning from experienced trainers and meeting fantastic people from all-over the world, are coming to my mind.

Michael, Yousseff and Steve, can’t wait to see you in July!

Waiting for other participators to their talks in this thread.

Best regards! smile

Hi everybody,

I am Martin Gustafsson from Gothenburg in Sweden.

I started out my professional career as an IT Security Consultant, but has diverged my career and now heads my own company in two different areas: IT Security and Business Development/Training.

For me learning and achieving excellence in what I do is something I find great pleasure in. I am passionate about developing individuals and organisations - and it is very rewarding for me when I help a company or an individual create a big positive change.

I really look forward to the course and am excited about learning more about NLP and its application. The Trainers Training is my next natural step (but not the last) in becomming better in NLP and conducting NLP change work. I also want to hold NLP Training of my own, and from my background research I found this to be the best training - so I am looking forward to seeing you all soon grin

Best regards,
Martin

Hello

My name is Jack Carroll, I have been working with the NLP Academy officially since 2009, though I have been around the courses since a very young age.

I have two roles at the trainers training in July, both of these roles I am very excited about.

The first role will be as support, some of you may have already spoken to me before the enrolling over the telephone and would have told me some clear outcomes, one of my jobs is to help support you with these goals. Before, during and after the course. I also will help you integrate into the Brighton area if you from abroad or from a different part of the UK if you need my help.

My second role is as an attendee smile I am on the second week of the training and am very much looking forward to working with you all closely there and furthering my NLP and training skills.

My outcomes are to make your stay as enjoyable as possible as well as becoming a certified NLP Trainer.

Outside of NLP I enjoy playing football and participating in various martial arts as well as being an avid gym goer.

Look forward to meeting you in July if I haven’t already.

All the best

Jack

Hi all

My name is Trevor Folley and live in Brentwood, Essex. I’m very much looking forward to meeting everyone in July. I work with schools to help them get the best from their children and have found NLP a key to unlock the potential of staff and pupils alike. My Master Prac training was in Classic Code and I became interested in New Code soon after. I am fascinated by the unconscious mind’s capacity to find solutions and expand possibilities.

I am keen to capture the spirit of New Code NLP and build the skills and understandings that will enable me to grow personally and to help others improve their lives. I would like to increase the emphasis on NLP in my professional life and help ensure it is practiced with excellence and sensitivity.

It’s great that the training will have such an international feel to it. See you all in July.

Best wishes
Trevor

Hi Everybody,

I am Harini Ramachandran from India.

I am a Professional Vocalist (I sing under the name ‘Megha’) - playback singer in the Indian Film Industry. I’ve worked with Academy winner A R Rahman who bagged awards for his score in Slumdog Millionaire. Songs are an integral part of Indian films!
I perform in several languages. Recording and Performing live puts me on an absolute high! Practicing NLP has only helped me get better a millionfold in what I enjoy doing, most!

I am also Learning Consultant at NuVeda Learning. We provide Learning Solutions and measure Business Impact on Learning Interventions for Corporate and Educational Institutes. I meet so many different people every day…. This platform has helped me integrate my NLP skills live as every moment here is my playground for my NLP practice.

My partner Antano and I recently started School of Excellence where we’d be integrating NLP full on, in most of our ventures.

I have been extensively trained by Antano from scratch who has been trained by Bandler. Both of us continue our NLP journey through all of the books and videos by Grinder, Bandler and others who have contributed noteably to this field.
NLP Modeling is the area I’m most interested in apart from Applications of NLP.

I’m looking forward to meet John, Carmen and Michael and take home a whole wealth of knowledge, skill and perspective. I’m also excited about meeting my co-participants and engage in a whole lot of learning.

I dream of generations and generations of excellence across the world. I know not of a more practical, enriching way to make this happen than NLP. And that’s why I’m here.

Cheers,
Harini

Hi Friends

I am Cayden from Singapore. I am currently running a training company at http://www.mindkinesis.com specialising in NLP Training and Value Investment Training in Singapore and some parts of Asia.

In fact, I have enrolled in the Trainers Training in 2010 and was supposed to attend in the same year. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with Cancer 2 weeks before the course. Having said that, the fortunate thing is that I survived. NLP tools particularly, reframing, helped a lot to keep my mind positive. Finally, I will be travelling to Brighton to attend this course. Meeting Michael, Carmen and John is a dream come true for me. I am also looking forward to meeting new and wonderful friends from all over the world.

Do connect with me at http://www.facebook.com/caydenchang.nlp!

See you!
