NLP In the Sun; NLP Practitioner Training

Course Overview

In 2013 the NLP Academy will run our summer season of courses in Murcia, Spain.  This exciting development means the global NLP community can enjoy NLP in the sun with the best NLP Trainers in the world. Join NLP co-creator John Grinder, Carmen Bostic St Clair and Michael Carroll for what is sure to be an NLP extravaganza. John, Carmen and Michael are known in NLP for their individual and collective contributions to the field.

The courses are for those seeking the very best NLP the field has to offer. You could call the courses the ‘gold standard in NLP’. The ITA NLP Practitioner certification is known in the business as the training to take if you are truly serious about taking your NLP skills to the highest possible level.

The NLP Practitioner certification is one of the few courses in the world that incorporates Classic and New Code NLP. The New Code NLP certification is a rare opportunity for people already trained in classic Code NLP to learn the New Code of NLP from its co-creators and primary developers. The lead trainers John, Carmen and Michael will be joined by a host of hand-picked NLP trainers making the 2013 Training Team for Spain one of the best we have ever assembled.

The course will take place in the Murcia region of Spain. Situated in the countryside, surrounded by mountains, the region is the ideal location for a learning experience. Surrounded by small non commercialised towns, this is a real untouched part of Spain where you can enjoy Spanish food and life in your spare time or enjoy all the resort has to offer. The Mar Menor beach is just a 5 minute walk way, with 9km of sandy beaches and water on average 7 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean, if you like beaches you will love what’s on offer here. Some of our clients have asked why we haven’t chosen commercially driven regions in Spain with a higher profile, such as Barcelona, Madrid or Marbella; the answer is quite simple, this region and the resort we have chosen offers all the quality of the more commercial areas of Spain at a much lower price, meaning we can keep the cost of courses at a price that reflects the current economic climate offering you a great value for money experience in a fantastic environment.

The Hotel

The Hotel is situated just 5 minutes away from Murcia International airport and 90 minutes away from Alicante. The hotel is situated in the heart of Najeros, bordering Los Alcazares just a few short minutes away from the world renowned Mar Menor, with a hub of shops and a wide selection of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. There are two phenomenal golf courses within ten minutes of the hotel for those looking for a relaxing game. In the hotel itself there is a fully equipped gym, pool, spa, restaurant and an internet cafe to cater for all your needs. As well as the hotel there are various other accommodation options in the local area details of which the NLP Academy team would be delighted to give you more information about.

Why Spain?

This is the eighth annual summer event that John, Carmen and Michael have run together, up until last year the previous six having taken place in the UK. We attract an international audience, with people travelling from as far as South America, USA, Australasia, Asia, Africa and all over Europe. At our most recent Trainers course in the UK 3/4 of the participants came from overseas. One thing we can guarantee in Spain is beautiful weather and great food. Add in lots of activities available in the area, fantastically priced accommodation and we thought Spain would be a great place to hold an international course. If you are British or Irish, you know we are used to travelling to Spain for holidays so we thought it would be more enjoyable for you as well. What’s more John, Carmen and Michael love Spain, we enjoy Spanish food, culture and the way of life, so we thought it would be excellent to bring our brand of NLP to Spain for both the Spanish and worldwide NLP community to enjoy. It’s simple NLP in the SUN!

Module I: Core NLP Skills and Classic Code NLP; with Michael Carroll and Bill Phillips

Module I focuses on Classic Code NLP and core skills. Classic Code NLP is the work Grinder and Bandler developed with a team of collaborators throughout the 1970’s. Nearly 40 years have passed since the early NLP developments, we pride ourselves on preserving the originality of Classic Code NLP yet teaching the patterning in a modern format using knowledge and methods that have emerged as NLP has evolved.

The Core Skills part of this module refers to developing practical experience with NLP that can be used to perform at high levels in every day situations. Michael Carroll and Bill Philips will share equal teaching time on this course, with each trainer teaching for one half of the day. Michael’s sessions will be in English and simultaneous Spanish translation will be provided. Bill’s sessions will be in Spanish and a simultaneous English translation will be provided. There will be a support team of both Spanish and English speaking people to guide participants in group work. In terms of providing value and a quality learning experience, it is worth pointing out here that module I is longer than many full practitioner courses on the market that claim people can become proficient NLP Practitioners of in just seven days. All the experience of our highly regarded faculty conclude this claim has no real merit hence our decision to offer more extensive and in-depth learning experiences.

John Grinder is very proud of his contribution in co-creating the Classic Code of NLP. Having said that John Grinder is a person who does not stand still and continually seeks new ways and more effective ways of doing things. The New Code was created when John Grinder took a step back and reflected on the Classic Code and realised there were flaws to remedy and more effective ways of facilitating change in others. In his quest to continually develop, John was joined by Carmen Bostic St Clair, an avid developer and creator of New Code NLP processes, and New Code NLP began to emerge as the latest and most effective patterning in the field. In recent years Michael Carroll joined the team, and together John, Carmen and Michael lead New Code courses at the Academy. Where the Classic Code is rooted in time, the New Code is constantly evolving; new collaborators who have attended training courses with John, Carmen and Michael are joining the development team and bringing fresh thinking and new ideas.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn the latest New Code patterning from the co-creators and primary developers.
