NLP Core Skills Diploma
Course Overview
The NLP Core Skills diploma is a five day course designed to give participants working knowledge and practical experience of NLP core skills. This course can be taken on a stand alone basis or as the first module of the NLP Practitioner training. No previous experience is necessary to attend the NLP Core Skills Diploma.
NLP began its life as the study of excellence when John Grinder and Richard Bandler modelled people who were excellent in their field. From there Grinder and Bandler created formats and models for human excellence, change and communication. These models are known as the core NLP models and are the basis of this course.
Course outcomes
For the participants to be able to use the NLP core skills to:
- Easily achieve personal outcomes
- Use NLP formats to work through challenges
- Facilitate processes of change in other people to help them achieve their outcomes
- Know and recognise patterns of excellence in self and others
- Use NLP language models for precise and influential communication
During this course you will learn:
- Calibration: how to detect subtle shifts in others non verbal behaviour
- Epistemology: how human beings unconsciously organise how they know what they know
- Representational systems: visual, auditory and kinaesthetic processing styles and how to utilise and influence in each system
- Rapport: how to enable and maintain deep rapport with other people
- Micro muscle mirroring: non verbal patterns of influence
- Submodality interventions: using the structure of internal representations to create change in others
- Anchoring formats: Helping self and others access and trigger states of excellence and use the states in situations there have been challenges
- Milton Model: Hypnotic style language for every day influence
- Meta Model: Syntactic questioning to ensure precise communication
