Course Overview

Attend The NLP Academy Advanced Practitioner training and learn how to apply NLP and related disciplines for in-depth one to one change work with yourself and others.

Advanced Practitioner is about understanding the unconscious processes people use to create their mental maps and how to use advanced patterns of change that fully harness unconscious protocols for transformation. By attending the Advanced Practitioner training you will automatically shift your perception and personal experience of NLP to a new level of awareness. This exciting shift is not common in the general NLP community.

Course Objectives

This course is for people already certified as Practitioners of NLP who seek to develop specialist skills for conducting lasting change in individuals. We used to call this course the step between Practitioner and Master Practitioner, but it’s much more than that, it’s a course for developing skills for advanced protocols for change.

The Advanced Practitioner course is unique to The NLP Academy. The syllabus significantly extends the core ‘NLP Practitioner’ syllabus to overlap New Code NLP, TimeLine Re-Patterning, Ericksonian Hypnosis and Humanistic Neuro Linguistic PsychologyTM (HNLP).

Your working NLP skills will accelerate as you learn the deeper applications of NLP and how these skills map with New Code NLP, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and TimeLine Re-Patterning. You will become more elegant with your generic NLP skills as you shift your awareness to higher levels of functioning, incorporating advanced patterns of change. You will learn how to really operate at the process level and conduct content free NLP work. You will learn the latest patterning from New Code NLP, how to really use TimeLines and stay in keeping with the core NLP principles. You will understand how to wrap NLP patterns in trance (or any other state) by using Ericksonian Hypnosis.

Course Structure:

Total study time: 32 hours live training over four days.

The focus on the course is learning through observation, experience and feedback. You will watch live demonstrations throughout the course conducted by Michael Carroll. You may decide to volunteer to be a demonstration subject or you may wait until you do the exercise. After every exercise you will receive precise feedback. Past delegates have worked through physiological and health issues, as well as deeply held emotional blockages and have said the course has been of enormous value just for their own personal change. This multi-layered learning process enables you to observe, experience, as well as do the processes for an in-depth learning experience.

You will learn

Ericksonian Hypnosis (Stage 1)

Milton Erickson is recognised as the greatest clinical hypnotherapist that ever lived. The co-creators of NLP modelled Erickson, and incorporated his work into NLP. At the Advanced Practitioner Training you will learn enhanced applications of Ericksonian hypnosis so you have an explicit model for hypnosis change work. At this course you will not be reading from scripts you will be doing Hypnotherapy in true Ericksonian style.

TimeLine Re-Patterning

TimeLines are one of the most misunderstood processes in NLP. The TimeLine Re-Patterning model is the only content free TimeLine model that truly acknowledges unconscious processing and the results are simply phenomenal.

The use of TimeLines is highly effective for conducting change work where you, as a Practitioner back-track the client to past representations for healing and releasing stuck emotions, as well as creating powerful future histories. TimeLine Re-Patterning, taught at the NLP Academy, offers significant enhancements to other TimeLine models for therapy. The TimeLine

New Code NLP

New Code NLP is the current format John Grinder and Carmen Bostic St Clair* use for training NLP. Michael Carroll and The NLP Academy are John and Carmen’s UK representatives. The major premise for New Code is self congruency through significantly increasing rapport between the conscious and unconscious mind of Practitioner and client. In the New Code package John Grinder solved many of the NLP puzzles he overlooked when working with Bandler.

Humanistic Neuro Linguistic PsychologyTM

HNLP is the study of how the Mind creates reality through language and behaviour. John Overdurf and Julie Silverthorn pioneered this exciting NLP approach based on their extensive research in quantum physics, ancient spiritual systems, hypnosis and neuro-science.
