Course Overview

Attend this new hypnotherapy course and learn the hypnotic strategies for helping clients create change in their lives This course is for people who are serious about becoming hypnosis professionals. During this course you will learn specific applications for conducting hypnosis sessions to enable clients to connect with the larger part of their mind, their unconscious mind. From the unconscious mind, limitations, habits and core beliefs can be overcome and powerful new change can occur.

This course encompasses different approaches to hypnosis including Ericksonian hypnosis as well as the more direct inductive styles. The course structure will give you, the participant, a full range of skills thus maximising your hypnotic range and flexibility when working with clients.

Course Objectives
Attend this course you will discover why, for centuries, the art of Hypnosis has fascinated people from all over the world. You will learn some pure and powerful approaches for using hypnosis in specific contexts for change. The course has been designed with ‘application, application and application’ in mind. The key objective is for you to be able to conduct hands-on practical hypnosis sessions when working with clients on range of issues from smoking cessation, weight loss and physical healing, as well emotional and psychological issues such as anxiety, fear and deeply held limiting beliefs.

Course Structure
Michael Carroll will conduct many demonstrations, sharing with you the vast hypnotic experience he has developed through years of practice. Michael will explain, in detail, all the tools he uses, as well as the general theory of hypnosis. You will conduct hypnotic sessions with your course colleagues and experience hypnotic sessions when your course colleagues work with you. The overall experience of lecture, live demonstrations and practical exercises will give you a thorough understanding of the material.

• Many ways of inducing trance for different types of clients
• Rapid trance inductions
• The applications and style of Ericksonian Hypnosis
• Utilising trance, the phenomena of revivification, arm catalepsy, amnesia, and analgesia
• The Elman approach for deepening trance
• Specific formats for working with smokers
• The specialist “natural body” hypnotic process to help people regain their natural body weight and say goodbye to fat forever
• Specific formats for working with weight loss
• Conscious/unconscious disassociation
• Precise metaphor construction
• Deep trance identification
• Working with physical and emotional trauma

Certification
Certification is through the NLP Academy. If applying for certification you will attend a specialist certification day on 27th April 2009. In the period after the course and before certification you will be set some practical exercises to help you integrate the skills you have learned. On the certification day, you be tasked to conduct inductions to demonstrate your hypnotic skills to the evaluators. You will receive precise feedback on your performance. Certification costs £200.00 + VAT

After the certification
You will be able to advertise yourself as a ‘Certified Hypnotherapist’. Working as a hypnotherapist is a personally rewarding career that can be highly lucrative. The fees range between £100.00 - £300.00 per hour depending on which area you work in. You can work part-time, blending hypnosis with another career or you can build a full time hypnotherapy practice. During the course you will learn how to advertise and position yourself in your market.
